PC gamers might not particularly cherish the idea of Diablo III on consoles and you can understand why – it's a game that was made for PC and doesn't necessarily transfer to consoles easily. And despite Blizzard repeatedly saying that they won't do it unless they can do it properly, it would seem that they are hiring staff to get on with the port.
And despite the fact that in September they said they were only "investigating" bringing the game to consoles, they are now hiring more staff as this post on Gamasutra proves.
"Blizzard Entertainment," the job listing reads, "is seeking an enthusiastic software engineer to be a key contributor on the Diablo team. This position is responsible for ensuring the best implementation of sophisticated networking systems on consoles."
I imagine this will be announced sooner rather than later, everybody knows about it anyway, but Blizzard don't quite seem ready to actually admit to the game being in development just yet. Perhaps they're waiting to maximise PC sales before announcing a console version?
