As promised, developer Mediatonic has released more details, including a new cinematic trailer, for their upcoming batch of new characters coming to Fall Guys. The new playable, unlockable costumes feature world warriors, specifically iconic heroes from Street Fighter. Yes, Street fighter has made a crossover with the popular free-to-play mini-game battle royale title, Fall Guys
The new cinematic trailer is about 45 seconds long but we get to see the awesome new costumes in action. There are a total of three Street Fighter characters crossing over into the battle royale, which include Ryu, Cammie White, and Akuma. Each character gets their own spotlight for them to shine, and the costumes will be available to purchase. In addition to the new costumes, fans will also get a couple of extra items coming to the Fall Guys item shop including new emotes, nameplates, and more!

As for Fall Guys, their Season 3 content brings not only characters like Ultraman and Spongebob Squarepants. It brings an entirely new area of play via an underwater city. In related news, it is no surprise to see Street Fighter make an appearance in Fall Guys as the next installment in the long-runing fighting franchise has been announced. Yes, Street Fighter 6 is currently in developed and we slowly approach its release, which is slated for next year (2023). It has just been reported that the highly anticipated fighting title got rated in Korea, so Capcom is making good progress on the title. They have also been sending out beta codes for invational testing. With The Game Awards apporaching, perhaps we will be seeing a new gameplay trailer or announcement froor the game.
