Good news for Final Fantasy fans! Final Fantasy VI is coming to the PSN this week.
As part of Square Enix’s ‘Winter of RPGS,’ the game, previously released for SNES in the US as Final Fantasy III, will be released on the PSN this week.
The game will be presented as a PSOne Classic, making it a port of the 1999 Playstation release of the game. The game is pretty much exactly as you SNES gamers remember it, bar some cut-scenes and special features, so there’s no need to panic about it being ‘tainted’ or anything, if that’s what you’re worried about.
Seriously, if you’re a Final Fantasy game and haven’t played this one before, you should probably give it a shot. The guys over at Gamesradar are pretty fond of it, and while my memories of playing this one are a little fuzzy, I can remember it being very pretty on my little eyes. The game will be available tomorrow for $10 on the PSN.
