Earlier last week Blizzard announced their newest hero coming to Overwatch 2…and today we are learning more about Ramattra’s – who is a new tank for the game in season 2 – origin story.
The official Blizzard Entertainment announcement reads as follows:
Ramattra was designed as a war machine before, but he laid down his weapons and replaced them with a shield to protect his people and support peace and serenity. His ideals resembled the Shambli Buddhist Zenyatta. But Ramattras story is a loss of humanity and a disaster for mankind.
Harmony helped eliminate discord, and Ramattra started to support his beliefs in a more pragmatic way,and it became more pragmatic. And hell do what it took to protect the omnics. Ramattra, the leader of Null Sector, has to depend on his people and is on the verge of imposing his philosophies on the world.
The newest tank, Ramattra will be joining the Overwatch 2 crew on December 6th, 2022 with the launch of the next season.
Overwatch 2 Halloween Event Ends Tomorrow
The Halloween event for Overwatch 2 has begun. This is Overwatch 2‘s first event since releasing in early October. The Halloween event started on October 25 and will end on November 8. However, not only will Overwatch 2 be having its first event, but they will also be sharing with us a new game mode at the same time. There are many skins to get during the Halloween event, including this Legendary skin for Reaper above. The Halloween event for this year is a new version of Junkenstein’s Revenge.
As noted above, the Halloween event for Overwatch 2 will be ending tomorrow so be sure to hop on tonight to get any last-minute skins or games in before the event goes off.
