Super Mario Land 3D Glitch Gives Infinite Lives

The new Super Mario Land 3D for the 3DS has been making the waves in recent days since its release, as it gives the somewhat underwhelming handheld a new lease on life, and something for us to play while we wait for more games to come out. 

A hardcore gamer named Arctic Extras has accidentally discovered a glitch in the game that allows you to get infinite 1-UP bonuses for infinite lives. As you can see in the video, it'll take some precise timing to pull off, and you'll need to stand in the right spot to do it. 

Given the game's difficulty, having infinite 1-UPs should come as a boon to players already driven to frustration.
