Given the success (and awesomeness) of Deus Ex: Human Revolution, fans of the Thief series have undoubtedly had their fears settled, and look forward in anticipation of Thief 4, the next game in the series.
New artwork of the game—storyboards done by one of its artists—has since surfaced on the Through The Looking Glass fan forums.
The first storyboard presumably depicts Garrett as he enters a manor from the cover of rain and storms, scaling its walls past overlooking gargoyles. We see him lurking in the shadows, as a woman dons her necklace in the privacy of her room.
In the second storyboard, we see him walking past cages upon cages of sleeping birds, trying his damndest not to awaken them.
In the final storyboard, Garrett looks at his hand—now containing the spoils of his adventure—and slips out into the street where a woman carrying a Victorian-style umbrella can be seen standing in the fog. Garrett finally makes his way into a portal surrounded by steam engineering.
