The Metal Gear Solid HD Collection is something gamers have been looking forward to for quite sometime and now we have a date to go along with the anticipation that's undoubtedly reaching stratospheric levels.
Set to release on 3rd February 2012, Konami's collection includes five titles for release on both the Xbox 360 and the PlayStation 3.
The HD Collection includes Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty, Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater, and Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker, for both platforms.
Additionally, the PS3 version of the game will get both Metal Gear Solid 1 and Metal Gear Solid 4.
The HD Collection was developed with the oversight of Hideo Kojima, and the PS3 version offers the "Transfarring" system allowing players to transfer their save games from the PSP version of Peace Walker to the PS3.
Konami has also announced that the Metal Gear Solid HD Collection is currently in development for the PS Vita, and will be released next year.
