Soul Calibur V Demonstrated by Pro Gamers

Top French players show off what it's like to play Soul Calibur 5 in a demo of the upcoming game. Using the characters Ivy and Hilde, the two players do battle against each other in a medieval setting. Armed with a sword, Ivy manages to hold off Hilde for the duration of the battle.

Despite popular characters making a return, the fighting game is set to be a kind of reboot of the Soul Calibur series with an all new storyline which takes place 17 years after the events of Soulcalibur IV and centres around the main protagonist, Patroklos, the son of Sophitia. 

Soul Calibur 5 is set for release on both the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 in 2012. Players will even have the choice of playing as Assassin's Creed's Ezio in the new game. Not bad, huh?
