Mass Effect and Dragon Age Become Card Decks

October 17, 2011 by Ian Miles Cheong

Mass Effect and Dragon Age will be released as card decks in the coming month.

BioWare has teamed up with Dark Horse to create an entire deck of Mass Effect- and Dragon Age-themed playing cards. As it is to be expected, the Mass Effect deck will feature the likes of Commander Shepard, Tali, and even Kasumi.

With Miranda as the Queen of Spades and Katsumi as the Queen of Clubs, I wonder who the Queen of Hearts is supposed to be. The fact that Shepard is the King of Spades should give some validation to anyone who played the game with Miranda as their primary love interest. It only makes sense, I suppose, considering the special ending dialogue you get with Miranda in your squad at the end.

Dark Horse has since released an image of the Mass Effect deck, which should go on sale on November 16, 2011 for $4.99. No images of the Dragon Age deck have been released as of yet.
