EA's new Need for Speed wasn't launched in the best of states. However, the studio is working to fix some big issues players have complained about by releasing a lot of highly requested content in its upcoming patch. These changes are expected to bring a lot of improvements to the game.

The update also includes 100 new customization items, to be added to vehicles in the game.
Additionally, there will be a new competitive multiplayer mode to make it easy for players to find others to race against with online without having to dive through the open world mode.
