November 1st marks the Uncharted 3 release date–but the game has, unsurprisingly, already gone gold. Well, that's not really news, is it? Games are done before their release date, to give time for distrubition and reviews. Going gold a month in advance is totally normal. Within the announcement by the Playstation Blog of Uncharted 3's going gold, however, was nestled a tidbit that might be of interest to some people: Uncharted 3 will be shipping with a voucher for the Starhawk Beta.
The Starhawk multiplayer public beta is set to launch sometime in early 2012. Not much else is known about the beta aside from it's existence, but the official site will be updated in the near future.
If that's not enough for you, well, how about this: all Uncharted 3 discs will come with four behind-the-scenes videos. These videos detail the development of Uncharted 3–content that is typically found exclusively on special editions.
