Warhammer: End Times – Vermintide is set to get an upgrade to DX12 for better graphics and performance on new PC systems. In addition the game is set to offer the equivalent of "High" settings on consoles when it's released on the Xbox One and PS4 in early 2016.
The cooperative action game is regarded by gamers as a spiritual successor to the Left 4 Dead games by Valve and brings the same co-op action into a medieval fantasy world.
Speaking to WCCFTech, Fatshark CEO Martin Wahlund discussed plans to add DX12 support to the game. He stated that it would be added to the game "at some point," and said that the studio's next title will definitely have it upon release.
Additionally, the developer said that the studio are big fans of the modding community and have ideas on how to support the modding community, though they have no timeline at the moment.
We'll cover more of Vermintide when the new year rolls around.
