Uncharted 4: A Thief's End saw a delay from 2015 to March 2016, and it's been delayed yet again. Today, Naughty Dog released a statement to say that the upcoming title will be delayed by a month to April 26 in the US, 27 in Europe, and 29 in the UK.
The few extra weeks will provide the developer with the time to give "several key sequences" more fine tuning and polish.
The game's creative lead Neil Druckmann wrote:
"Pushing the date is not an easy choice, and we wouldn't do it if we didn't feel in our hearts it's the best course of action for the game. To you, our loyal fans, we hope you'll accept our sincere apology. We know many of you have been waiting patiently for Nathan Drake's final chapter, and now we humbly ask you to wait a bit longer."
Uncharted 4 is easily set to be one of the biggest games for the PS4 in 2016, and its delay will no doubt disappoint gamers, but as Shigeru Miyamoto once said, "A delayed game is eventually good, a bad game is bad forever."
