It’s only Monday and already there’s more live-stream content to get ready for this week, courtesy of Assassin’s Creed. It’s fair to say that so far, June has seen some wide-ranging reveals and treats for the gaming world, and with most of us still reeling from yesterday’s Xbox and Bethesda Showcase event, it looks like there’s yet another event to check out very soon.
In a tweet shared earlier on the official Assassin’s Creed account, it’s been revealed that the franchise will be hosting a special celebration live stream event tomorrow, June 14th. The stream will be taking place on the Ubisoft YouTube and Twitch channels at 9 AM PT/12 PM ET/ 5 PM BST / 6 PM CET.
While there’s no further elaboration as of yet as to what exactly the live stream will focus on, the somewhat surprising announcement has caught the community off-guard. Some are wondering if this means Assassin’s Creed fans will be getting treated to a new game announcement, although in reality, that seems somewhat unlikely given that Ubisoft has such a long-term plan for content and support on Assassin’s Creed Valhalla.
Nevertheless, the live stream is sure to be a celebration of all things Assassin’s Creed and should be marked on the calendars of all fans of the franchise. Elsewhere, gamers are loving reconnecting (and discovering) Assassin’s Creed Origins, which recently landed on Xbox Game Pass as well as being finally given a 60 FPS boost for Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5.
We’ll be keeping an eye on tomorrow’s celebration live stream event to see what, if any, potential surprises are up Ubisoft’s sleeve. It seems as though anything can happen in the world of gaming at the moment, so you just never know what could come out of it. Also taking place tomorrow is the extended showcase event from Xbox and Bethesda, which will feature some more in-depth looks at some of the games revealed during yesterday’s events, plus hopefully a few more surprises.
