Redfall Unveils New Gameplay Trailer

June 12, 2022 by Ophelie Castelot

Slaying vampires never looked so cool.

During the Xbox & Bethesda Games Showcase, Arkane Austin unveiled a brand new gameplay trailer for Redfall. It unveils some of the locations available in the game and the gameplay of the four main characters.

The new Redfall gameplay trailer begins with Layla Ellison walking in an abandoned church. She follows a trail of blood leading to the attic, where she faces several blood-thirsty vampires. The action then continues in the street, where the other protagonists of Redfall join Layla.

This trailer unveils more about Redfall‘s world. This island town is under the control of vampires, who managed to block out the sun and drain all water. The only survivors are vampire cultists worshipping the bloodsuckers. Layla and her friends Remi, Jacob, and Devinder, decided to fight back against the vampires.

Each Redfall character has its own perks. Layla has telekinetic powers allowing her to create a plasma shield or summon a lift from nowhere. Jacob is a sniper able to become invisible for a short period of time. Remi is an engineer who always goes out with her robot buddy. Devinder can lay out some traps to freeze and electrify vampires.

Besides these special powers, the gameplay of Redfall looks like any traditional FPS. There is a large variety of weapons, and your goal is to empty your ammo at all the vampires you see. The game features both single-player and multiplayer for up to 4 players.

Redfall will be available on PC and Xbox Series X/S in the first half of 2023.
