Sega has spent the beginning of June focusing on Sonic Frontiers, the upcoming open-world adventure starring everyone’s favorite blue blur. We have seen a lot about the game so far and now we have finally gotten a glimpse of the title screen. This was revealed through a series of social media posts in regard to the in-person Summer Game Fest Play Days event, where certain content creators and journalists can go hands-on with a variety of upcoming titles, including Sonic Frontiers.
At the moment, the title screen is quite simplistic, featuring a cloudy sky, the game’s logo, and some basic menu options. It looks like this will be subject to potential changes, which are to be expected during demos for upcoming releases. More social media posts have been surfacing about other aspects of the demo, such as cutscenes, the game’s HUD, and some gameplay.
IGN has been releasing exclusive coverage in partnership with Sega and will be continuing to do so for the rest of the month. So far, they have released multiple gameplay videos, in addition to some interview content with the developers.
Sonic Frontiers is set to launch sometime in Holiday 2022, so hopefully, we will be hearing news about a release date in the coming months.
