The Annapurna Interactive Showcase Returns In July

June 10, 2022 by Chirag Pattni

What does the indie game publisher have to show?

Video game publisher Annapurna Interactive has announced that the next Annapurna Interactive showcase will be airing this July. Specifically, it will be live-streamed on July 28th, and it will start at 3 PM ET, 12 PM PT, and 8 PM BST. The announcement trailer for the showcase can be seen below and the event will be available to watch on the publisher’s official YouTube and Twitch channels.

The official description of the event reads, “Another one. Reveals, announcements, and much more.” Annapurna Interactive has developed a reputation for publishing consistently unique and high-quality indie titles, so we have confidence that the company will have something worthwhile to show during the new presentation.

Annapurna Interactive previously held a presentation last summer, successfully showing off an impressive selection of upcoming games. Neon White is a singe player speedrunning FPS game that utilizes a unique card-based system for attacks. It also appears to include some social elements with NPCs and is due to release on June 16th. Annapurna also showed off games such as the emotional A Memoir Blue, which was released earlier this year across multiple platforms and Xbox Game Pass. Viewers were given another look at Solar Ash, which was released on PlayStation platforms and PC last year, as well as the Echoes of the Eye expansion for The Outer Wilds.

The arguable highlight of the show was Stray. This new adventure game places players into the paws of an adorable kitty trying to find his way home through a dystopian city full of robots. Stray is due to release on PlayStation platforms and PC on July 19th.

It’s hard to say what we might see at the new Annapurna Interactive showcase. Given that many of the games that the publisher presented last year will have been released by July 28th, it stands to reason that Annapurna has something new to show.
