In a livestream hosted by JeuxVideo.com, viewers were treated to 45 minutes of gameplay from Bloodborne: The Old Hunters, the upcoming expansion pack for last spring’s PlayStation 4-exclusive, Bloodborne.
The video heavily features a new weapon for the game called the “Saw-Mill” trick weapon. A translation of the weapon’s description from French to English can be found below (via DualShockers).
Saw-Mill
Trick weapon developed by the Powder Kegs, heretics of the workshop, much appreciated by the old Valtr, nicknamed the devourer of monsters.
It can be used as a mace, but its interesting side lies in its mechanical circular blades, rotating discs with toothed edges perfectly sharpened to shred the flesh of monsters.
Bloodborne: The Old Hunters was announced earlier this year as an expansion DLC for Bloodborne that will purportedly contain enough content to feel like two pieces of DLC, clocking in at about eight hours of gameplay. Those curious about the difficulty level of The Old Hunters should know that series producer Masaaki Yamagiwa went on record saying The Old Hunters will feel like “the latter portion of Bloodborne in terms of its difficulty level.
