Telltale Games Releases First Two Minecraft: Story Mode Episodes

October 27, 2015 by Olga Lexell

The game includes the first and second episodes.

All caught up on Game of Thrones, Tales from the Borderlands, and The Wolf Among Us? Consider checking out Telltale's newest release, Minecraft: Story Mode. The first episode is called The Order of the Stone. Episode Two: Assembly Required will also be available for download this week.

Story Mode allows you to play as the hero Jesse (voiced by Patton Oswalt), who travels across the Overworld, through the Nether, and to the End to find The Order of the Stone and save the world. As with all Telltale releases, the player's choices influence the outcome of the story.

Minecraft: Story Mode is available for PC, iOS/Android devices, Xbox 360, Xbox One, PS3, and PS4 today in the US. The game will eventually release on Wii U and PS Vita as well, and European gamers can look forward to its launch on October 30. For $30, the season pass grants access to five total episodes (the remaining three can be downloaded as they become available).
