Dragon Quest Heroes Releasing In The US Today

October 13, 2015 by Ryan Parreno

No, really, they went ahead with the full name Dragon Quest Heroes The World Tree’s Woe and the Blight Below.

Sony has revealed the launch trailer for Dragon Quest Heroes The World Tree's Woe and the Blight Below. The game is available in the US today for PlayStation 4.

The trailer sums up the premise neatly enough. The kingdom of Arba was a safe space for monsters and humans to peacefully co-exist. However, when an interloper ruins the peace and sets the monsters against mankind, Luceus and Aurora embark on a quest to recover the monster’s hearts, and recruit themselves an elite role playing fighting team in the process.

Dragon Quest Heroes The World Tree's Woe and the Blight Below originally released in Japan on February 26. Unfortunately, the PlayStation 3 version did not leave those shores. It will be coming up in Europe this October 16.

Were you one of the folks who spent the money to import Dragon Quest Heroes from Japan? What about the special edition metal slime PlayStation 4 made for it? Are you getting the game now? Share your thoughts with us in the comments. Watch the full trailer above.
