Wadjet Eye, developer of Blackwell and publisher of Gemini Rue, Primordia, and Resonance, has announced point-and-click post-apocalyptic sci-fi adventure Shardlight. The game's announcement trailer can be viewed above.
The game takes place in a nuclear wasteland ravaged by disease and lacking in food and water. Playing as a sick woman named Amy, your goal is to find a cure. An enigmatic oligarchy offers vaccines to the rich while the poor die from hunger and illness.
Most Wadjet Eyes label games are published by the complay but Shardlight is being developed by it. Their last game was 2014's Blackwell Epiphany.
Shardlight is coming to PC in spring.
