The newly-announced Far Cry Primal has already found its lead actor in Elias Toufexis (Deus Ex: Human Revolution & Mankind Divided), which should come as no surprise given Far Cry Primal’s release date is just over four months from now.
Toufexis shared the news of his involvement in Far Cry Primal on Twitter today, saying, “Yeah. I play the lead character in this bad boy.”

The lead character in question, Takkar, is a man that is the last surviving member of his hunting group. Players, as Takkar, arrive in a place called Oros in 10,000 B.C. and must learn to defend themselves from predators that include wildlife and other people. Far Cry Primal will be released on Feb. 23, 2016 on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One (and in March for PC), which is, interestingly, the same day Toufexis’ other game, Deus Ex: Mankind Divided will be released. Which will you be picking up first?
