A British motorist has been arrested following a 100mph car chase and admitted his driving knowledge came from his PlayStation, ITV News reports.
Adam Jones, 24, of Skegness, Lincolnshire caused thousands of pounds worth of damage to parked vehicles in the town of Grantham.
Following his arrest Jones revealed he did not have a licence or insurance, with his experience of being behind the wheel having previously been confined to his PlayStation.
Having been stopped by a police stinger device, Jones has been jailed for a year, banned from driving for three years, and ordered to take an extended road test using an actual car.
"You said you 'Only learnt to drive on a PlayStation game.'," the judge told Jones. "You were driving like a PlayStation game. You drove as fast as you could as if in a video or PlayStation game without any care for those around you."
