To commemorate the launch of Risen 3: Titan Lords – Enhanced Edition, an updated release of last year’s Risen 3: Titan Lords, publisher Deep Silver has released a launch trailer for the game.
In Risen 3: Titan Lords – Enhanced Edition, players will play a nameless protagonist who is attacked by supernatural beings known as “The Shadows” that take his soul. The protagonist then sets out in an attempt to regain his soul from The Shadows, meeting various and choosing to align with various people along the way.
The Enhanced Edition will, of course, have updated visual effects including improvements to depth-of-field, HDR bloom, and “an all-new volumetric cloud system” that makes improvements to Risen 3’s dynamic day/night cycles in the game. The Enhanced Edition also comes packed with all previously released DLC, including the Adventure Garb, Fog Island, and Uprising of the Little Guys.
While the original version of Risen 3 was released last year on PC, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360, the Enhanced Edition will be exclusively available on PlayStation 4. However, PC players who own a copy of the original Risen 3: Titan Lords and are using a 64-bit operating system will have their copy automatically updated to the new version with the improved graphics of the Enhanced Edition.
