Rainbow Six Siege has been delayed, publisher Ubisoft has confirmed. The game was originally expected to launch in October but will now be releasing on December 1st, 2015 in all regions.
News of the delay was revealed in a new blog update on the Ubiblog. The publisher says the decision to delay the game was made to accommodate fan feedback.
"Whether it's been through playtests in our studios, the closed alpha, or recent hands-on demos at events like E3 or gamescom, player feedback has been essential to the development of Rainbow Six Siege," developer Ubisoft Montreal said. "Getting the game in people's hands and listening to what they have to say helps us understand how we can improve their experience, and we’d like to thank everyone who’s taken part in the process so far."
Rainbow Six Siege is in development for PC, PS4, and Xbox One. The game's beta begins on September 24th.
