Techland has shared a new trailer for an upcoming expansion to Dying Light, simply called The Following.
This is the text from the official press release describing the expansion:
‘The Following’ sees Kyle Crane travel to a hazardous outback ruled by mysterious and fanatical cultists whose beliefs have unnerving connections with the zombie outbreak.
To get close to the cult and unravel their secrets, players will need to earn the trust of the locals. Through various missions and tasks, players will be able to choose their own path for infiltrating the inner circles of the cultists.
In order to succeed in this harsh countryside, players will also gain access to fully customizable and upgradable dirt buggies. With its own unique skill tree, players will be able to traverse the vast expanse of the Harran countryside in what is their deadliest weapon yet.
Previously, Techland confirmed that the expansion would introduce vehicles. Now, we know that protagonist Kyle Crane will be roaming around the zombie infested grasslands on a dirt buggy, which can be customized and upgraded. The buggy will even have its own skill tree, clinching its position as a replacement travel system for the parkour from the base game.
The trailer did not reveal a release date yet, but it will be available for $ 15. Of course, if you buy the season pass, you get it along with all the other DLC for $ 20.
