In a newly released video from Spiders and Focus Home Interactive, we get to see The Technomancer in action for the first time ever. The trailer debuted at Gamescom 2015 today and features footage from the upcoming single-player RPG. It was announced not too long ago.
In the video, supported by music from Olivier Deriviere, best known for his work on Remember Me and the Assassin's Creed IV expansion Freedom Cry, we get to watch as the game's protagonist Zachariah attempts to communicate with Earth as he's being pursued by Mars' secret police, who are tasked with hunting down the rogue Technomancer (that's him) across the post-apocalyptic red planet.
Your journey as Zachariah begins long after the human colonization of Mars and its subsequent decline, with artifacts sprawled about the landscape of the planet.
According to the developers, Mars holds many secrets, and the game's quests yield a variety of tantalizing results depending on how you choose to solve them. Players can expect to learn more about the world by interacting with potential party members and build friendships with them. As an RPG as well as an action game, the game is set to feature three combat styles.
The game is expected for release in 2016 for the PC, Xbox One and PS4.
