Aeternum Game Studios have today announced that there will be an Aeterna Noctis prequel game coming to stores in the not-too-distant future. A game that has been described as a “roguelite game that combines dungeon crawler mechanics with fast-paced combat” will be coming to Steam. Now, I hope we didn’t get your hopes up because there is no specific release date planned, but the hope is that it will launch on Early Access first before a full launch is planned for some time in 2024.
The game which has been titled ‘Summum Aeterna’ will be a kind of origin story to the highly acclaimed 2-D platform game Aeterna Noctis which was released in December 2021. So, you can expect more of the same when this game is released, which includes unique and gorgeous aesthetics, and thrilling combat mechanics.

You will take on the role of the King of Darkness, a mighty and powerful warlord who has been condemned to eternal life. You will explore mysterious dungeons that are laden with treasures beyond your wildest dreams, but beware of the traps, armies of enemies, and a heap of powerful bosses that are aiming to stop you in your tracks.
