Finn Balor has shared a new message for fans for WWE 2K16.
In a new video, the up and coming superstar has revealed that he is involved in the motion capture for 2K Sports’ next game. This means that not only is he doing capture for his own character, but for other wrestlers as well. This may include general animations for some common wrestling moves and gestures.
Finn Balor, real name Fergal Devitt, was previously billed as Prince Devitt before the WWE. The story goes that Japanese commentators started calling him Prince because they had difficulty pronouncing his real first name, Fergal. Devitt made a name for himself in Japan, Mexico, and around the world, as a solid mat wrestler in the mold of Billy Robinson. He also popularized his facepaint gimmick during this time, which originally had elements of cosplay as well (He once entered the ring dressed up as Bane).
Behind the gimmickry, Devitt has a great look that fits him well in this role, even though he just joined the WWE last year. He’s young, talented, and has a host of classic wrestling moves he pull out of his backpocket regularly.
Of course, if you’re a regular viewer of NXT, you already know all this, and you know Devitt has a bright future for him in the WWE. Here and now, he’s a young buck helping out in the game, and he wants you to look forward to it.
WWE 2K16 will be released on PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One on October 27.
