Forza Motorsport 6 details have inadvertently leaked, thanks to Xbox's Japanese website.
Although the game was revealed last January as an Xbox One exclusive, they held off revealing most of the details, presumably for a big reveal for this E3. For what it's worth, a lot of details revealed here were easy to anticipate anyway.
Without further ado, here's what we know about the game based on the leak.
-
The game boasts hitting 1080p, 60 FPS.
-
There will be 450 cars and 26 famous locations.
-
Online multiplayer will go up to as many as 24 players.
-
The once trademarked Forzatech refers to the game's new engine.
-
The game will have wet racing and night racing, with fully 3D puddles of water.
-
Coming back from previous games are tuning, full mechanical upgrades, painting, damage, drivatars, and split screen for two players.
Now, Xbox Japan had confirmed Rio and Daytona as new tracks for the game. Rio was particularly meaningful being a track from the first Forza Motorsport a decade ago. There were apparently also laser scans of Monza and Pacific Raceways, so between these and Forza 5's 17 tracks, it seems likely that Forza 6 will have 21 tracks.
