2020 was a terrible year. Thanks to a history-making worldwide health pandemic outbreak, we all had to undergo new strict orders. The world was filled with social distancing, remote work orders, quarantine restrictions, among other sets of rules. As a result, people were stuck at home far more than ever before. The need for entertainment was at an all-time high. Fortunately, several entertainment mediums came in clutch to help escape reality.
One of those big game hits from 2020 was a title that didn’t come out last year. Instead, the game that had so much fame and reception was Among Us. The title came out in 2018, but fans were getting this game on their radar last year. Because of how quickly the popularity came to the title in 2020, the indie development studio, InnerSloth, returned to continue support.
Unfortunately, it was only available on PC and mobile devices when the game initially came out. However, the studio’s success brought the game out onto other platforms. So today, you’re finally able to enjoy this game across consoles. Fortunately, last year Nintendo Switch owners were able to get their hands on the game as well, so it’s been a real waiting game for other console platforms.
If Among Us slip past your radar, players could finally enjoy the game on Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, and lastly, PlayStation 5 console platforms. It’s a social deduction title for those of you who might not have paid much attention to this game since it wasn’t on a platform of your choice. Players are dropped in a game together where they are either crew members or an impostor. The crew’s job is to complete a series of mini-games that are considered tasks. Meanwhile, impostors must take out all the living crew without getting caught.
