A few days ago, DICE developers revealed that Star Wars Battlefront would not be featuring traditional iron sights on certain weapons. This was assumed to mean that the game would not be offering ADS (Aim Down Sights) gameplay, whereupon players aim down their reticules to target enemies with greater accuracy.
Today, DICE's Niklas Fegraeus, Design Director on Star Wars Battlefront revealed that while the iron sights would be missing on certain weapons, it will have no impact whatsoever on ADS gameplay–meaning, ADS is still in.
"It's just a visual thing," he wrote on Twitter. "Just to clarify, in #SWBattlefront, missing iron sights on certain weapons will have no effect on ADS gameplay."
That should clear a few things up.
Star Wars Battlefront is slated for release on the PC, Xbox One and PS4 on November 17, 2015.
