Project CARS Finally Releases Launch Trailer

May 4, 2015 by Ryan Parreno

After repeated delays, Slight Mad Studios is releasing Project CARS to Windows, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on May 7.

It’s finally here. After repeated delays, Slight Mad Studios is releasing Project CARS to Windows, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on May 7. To celebrate, they have released this launch trailer.

While some fans justifiably still take the delay against SMS and their crowdfund initiative, World of Mass Development have managed quite an achievement wit this project, with some unique qualities to booth. 80,000 fans funded a four year production, that saw some peaks and valleys, including setting legal precedents to the business of crowdfunding.

The game launches with all these features:

·         Over 110 unique locations for the most tracks of any recent racer

·         Over 80 cars at launch

·         Every motorsport you can think of, including GT, Touring, Le Mans, karts, etc

·         Dynamic weather

·         Dynamic time of day/endurance races

·         60FPS, with 45 racers onscreen

·         16 player multiplayer

·         Asynchronous Time Trials

·         Regular community events

·         The Driver Network social features

·         Oculus Rift and Project Morpheus support

Can’t get enough of the soundtrack? You can listen to it on Spotify from here.
