The massively popular Adventure Time series of cartoons has turned out a few video games, which sadly weren't rated very highly compared to the series itself. That said, Adult Swim Games isn't ready to give up on the franchise and has today announced a brand new game.
Unlike previous titles, which were 2D roguelikes, the new game is a 3D adventure game called Adventure Time: Finn and Jake Investigations. Like other games in the genre, it's about solving mysteries and figuring out which item pairs with what piece of the environment.
The game has been announced for the Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, PC, WIi U and 3DS for a November release. It's being developed by the makers of Earth Defense Force: Insect Invasion, Vicious Cycle.
It doesn't look like a bad game. Expect more details to come out soon.
