Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain slated to release on September 1, 2015. It's going to be one of the year's biggest releases, but the studio creating the game – Kojima Productions – is going through a weird time right now. Boss Hideo Kojima has recently stopped working on the game and nobody can tell us what happened. Was he fired? Did he quit? His departure would be very saddening, considering he has nearly made the franchise.
Some sources are indicating that he was fired, but nobody can confirm this beyond reasonable doubt.
At any rate, publisher Konami wants to take your mind off things by offering some new swag. It comes in the form of this beautiful leather jacket, which is worn by Snake in Metal Gear Solid 5:
