Hyrule Warriors’s Ganon Pack DLC Lets You Play as a Beast

February 18, 2015 by Ian Miles Cheong

New challenge modes will be added to Hyrule Warriors in the upcoming DLC.

Hyrule Warriors will see the release of a new DLC that lets you play as none other than the beast Ganon, the chief bad guy of the Legend of Zelda series of games from Nintendo.

According to Games Talk, It’s been dated for February 26 on the eShop in Japan. No word yet on when it might release in Europe and the Americas, but it shouldn’t take them too long to release it, especially if previous DLC releases are any indication.

Dubbed the Ganon Pack, the DLC will include two challenge modes—one in which you’ll be able to play as Ganon himself.

Here’s what’s in store:

Boss Challenge – Players must challenge huge demonic beasts and aim to achieve a high score in this new mode. For every battle, you can leave a record with each character. Rewards are costumes for Link, Zelda, and Lana.

Ganon Play – Players take on the role of the beast Ganon and shoot for a high score in this challenge mode. Due to his sheer size alone, Ganon can destroy the battlefield and take out hordes of enemies. You can leave a record for every battle. As a reward, you can acquire costumes for Ganondorf and Cia.
