Watch Dogs DLC Bad Blood is currently available for season pass holders and will go on general sale from September 30th for everyone else. Every, that is, who has the game on any platform except Wii U.
The Wii U version of Watch Dogs isn't due to launch until November and Ubisoft seems to have already confirmed that it effectively won't be supported after release by announcing on Twitter that the game may not have any DLC at all. Asked about DLC for the Wii U version, the game's social media team replied, "No, the WiiU version will not have the DLC."
It's unclear whether they're referring specifically to Bad Blood or all DLCs for the game.
Ubisoft has previously stated that Watch Dogs will likely be the last mature game they release for Wii U as sales of past titles such as Assassin's Creed and ZombiU have failed to meet targets.
While Watch Dogs Wii U sales were always likely to be small compared to other platforms, moves such as this will do nothing endear Ubisoft to Nintendo fans and may further dampen enthusiasm for the game on the system.
Yesterday, Ubisoft announced that Watch Dogs was still Western Europe's fastest selling new IP despite the success of Destiny.
