Kingdom Hearts 3 director Tai Yasue has confirmed the game is going on as scheduled.
Tai starts off by clarifying that his comments about Frozen were miscommunicated. Unfortunately, Tai seems to have simply enjoyed the film, and did not necessarily confirm plans, or even any intention, to add it to the game.
The combat in Kingdom Hearts 3 is harder. The way Tai describes it is that the intensity has increased. This means it may not necessarily be an increase in absolute difficulty, but also possibly the introduction of new, more intense, battle mechanics.
The Keyblade could have one of these intense mechanics. It will have transformation variations similar to those found from the Keyblades in Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep.
The conversation between the two mysterious figures in the teaser? That lasts two minutes at least, possibly even longer.
The game engine has hit an unspecified snag, so the Kingdom Hearts team in Square Enix Osaka is currently focusing on scenario writing and picking out Disney worlds. Riku and Sora definitely have new costumes.
Osaka is currently thinking about how to approach Sora as well. If his stats are too high, he appears to be invincible.
Kingdom Hearts 3 will be released on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
