Lord of the Rings fans gets a treat this week with a live-action short on Shadow of Mordor from the popular YouTube group Corridor Digital. They've teamed up with Warner Brothers to hype up the upcoming release of Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor. While dialogue can be a bit corny, this was a well produced short that fans should enjoy.
Players hyped up about the game and choosing PC as the platform will get the (now usual) pre-order discount, with up to 25% off for Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor's Steam key:

The PC pre-order above comes with the special "The Dark Ranger" DLC which includes an "exlcusive" playable character skin for Talion and the "Test of Power" challenge mode.

- Best Buy: In-game Flame of Anor Rune. Gives you high combo count.
- Amazon: Getting Shadow of Mordor here will give you the Deadly Archer Rune. Lets you deal extra damage when doing range headshots.
- Steam Store: Orc Slayer Rune. Lets you use special moves against enemies, dealing more damage (yes this description is vague).
- GameStop: Hidden Blade Rune + Captain of the Watch Skin. Deals extra damage when executing stealth attacks. The skin is uh, just a skin.

In terms of pre-order bonus, in addition to the special rune it receives, players picking Best Buy will get the now standard $10 rewards certificate, good for future purchases at Best Buy.
Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor is the latest triple-A title published from Warner Bros Interactive Entertainment based on The Lord of the Rings universe. It will be released later this month on September 30th for the PC, Xbox One, and PS4. 7th gen console players will have to wait a bit later until November 18th, 2014.
