Online retailer Newegg has listed the release date for Grand Theft Auto V on PC, PS4, and Xbox One as November 18th, a Tuesday and the regular launch date for games in North America and it's also just prior to Black Friday.
The release date listing comes after TakeTwo's UK distributor Gem Distribution posted the launch date as November 14th, a Friday and the day when most games come out in the UK. While UK launches are usually after the US release, it's not totally unheard of for a game to launch in Europe first – this month Disney Infinity will be one such title – and the UK doesn't have Black Friday sales which takes that out of consideration.
VG24/7 was able to snap a screenshot of Gem Distribution's page before the date was pulled and replaced simply with 'November'.
So far TakeTwo and Rockstar have declined to reveal the launch date for Grand Theft Auto 5 on the new platforms but you can watch a comparison video between the PS3 and PS4 versions here.
As soon as we have an official date, we'll let you know.
