DICE games usually have a beta prior to launch and with EA expecting to launch Star Wars Battlefront in late 2015, the beta would most likely take place in the summer.
As Star Wars HQ points out, the Visceral are handling next year's Battlefield Hardline and with the game coming out in February, it seems possible that access to Battlefront's beta will be included with the cops-vs-robbers shooter.
It's not uncommon for games publishers are concerned may not perform particularly well to include beta access to a sure hit which it seems likely Battlefront will be.
Whether or not this is something EA decides to do remains to be seen, but you can watch Star Wars HQ's full video below and decide for yourself just how likely it is.
EA has said that they "would like" to release Battlefront close to Episode VII which hits cinemas in December 2015 but the game isn't necessarily linked to the movie.
No platforms have been announced for the game but if there is a beta, the systems its available on should tell us everything we need to know on that front. Either way, PC, PS4, and Xbox One seem like safe bets.
