MoreConsole has posted yet another Destiny video, this time looking at the weapons in the game. The consensus among those who played the beta seems to be that the Shingen-C Auto Rifle is the game's best primary gun.
As you can see from the stats above, the gun has an incredible rate of fire and good stabilty factor. Though the range of the weapon is short, it's still lethal through the scope. Various upgrades including improved range and increased attack can be unlocked to improve the Shingen-C even further.
Of course, this is only from the game's beta which capped players at level eight. Better, more powerful guns will likely be available upon the game's general release.
How do you unlock these weapons? By pure chance, there's simply no way to guarantee that you will get access to the Shingen-C. It's possible that the weapon will be dropped by enemies or sold by the Cryptarch in the Tower.
Even though the beta is now over, it seems like a good choice at least in the early stages of the full release. Bungie has said Destiny is the biggest game they've ever made "by far" so no doubt there's plenty of lethal guns to find out there.
