There’s good news for Tomb Raider fans who thought that the upcoming title, Rise of the Tomb Raider, was only going to be released on the Xbox One: It’s also coming out on the PC, Xbox 360, PS3, and of course the PS4—at least according to a pretty legitimate-seeming retail listing. Because of course it is.
Square Enix hasn’t confirmed it yet, but the retail listings (discovered by VideoGamer) for amazon.co.uk appear to indicate that the game will be available for every platform the first Tomb Raider was. The US Amazon website doesn’t appear to have anything beyond the Xbox One listing for the game, however.
News of the game’s release platforms follows a brief showing of the game at Microsoft’s Xbox One press conference at this year’s E3 event in Los Angeles.
The fact that the game was announced at Microsoft’s press conference should give us pause for thought, because it’ll likely feature exclusive content or be some sort of timed exclusive release for the Xbox One. Only time, and Square Enix, can tell what’s in store for the title.
