We have new information on Rise of the Tomb Raider, officially confirmed as a new Lara Croft/ Tomb Raider game from Square Enix and Eidos.
Rise of the Tomb Raider is picking up where the reboot Tomb Raider left off, and the scene is set with Lara talking to a psychologist, dealing with the trauma of fighting the Yamatai. In her mind, however, we know Lara is forward looking at her next adventure.
It’s not quite a happy trek for Lara, as she runs off from bears, jumping off to caverns in the rain (which sucks), and still stalking and killing people. Lara’s eschewed the flashy, showy style of previous games and gone full-on survivalist.
Lara’s also revealed a new awesome aesthetic. Not as sexy maybe, but being all covered up with the hood is more believable, and also looks great on Lara.
