While short, this three minute trailer does a pretty good job of detailing the overall picture of the state of human society in the year 2027, when Deus Ex: Human Revolution takes place. Set 25 years before the events of the first game, the story is centered around the controversy of Human cybernetic augmentation and the various individuals, corporations, organizations and clandestine shadow cabinets intent on controlling the technology and through it, humanity.
Deus Ex: Human Revolution is the prequel to a game which is arguably considered one of the best ever made, and if you're even remotely interested in this new title, you owe it to yourself to play the original. You can get it on Steam and elsewhere for like, five dollars.
