FromSoftware’s Elden Ring Website Showcases Rating For Pegi 16

February 22, 2021 by Dennis Patrick

Still, no new details were released on the upcoming game.

FromSoftware has been around for years and at the moment this studio is really known for its challenging gameplay video game title releases. Ever since the Souls franchise came out there has been a massive fan base eager to dive into whatever the next thrilling video game installment FromSoftware decides to bring out. While we haven’t received another Souls installment in a few years outside of the remastered release for the PlayStation 5, there is another game that Souls fans may be interested in which is Elden Ring. This is a new IP under FromSoftware that has plenty of fans already.

Unfortunately, we really don’t know a whole lot about this game at the moment. This project is quietly being developed which has fans anticipating for any shred of news to come out and while FromSoftware hasn’t opted to bring out anything new officially, we may have a game rating. Recently, the development studio’s website for Elden Ring has a rating attached. In particular, this rating was discovered on the Elden Ring Bandai Namco Asia website where it’s apparently rated for Pegi 16. That little bit of news may have some fans hopeful that more substantial announcements are coming soon.

Again, at the moment we don’t have much to go off about when it comes to the Elden Ring video game release. We can expect a bigger world to explore and that there are past statements suggesting that we may have mounts to ride in this title. That would help players likely traverse the game world a bit quickly but could also play a key component in battles as well. That’s not the only thing we know about Elden Ring either as the team behind the project seems to be pretty stacked as well.

While we have the folks over at FromSoftware developing this title up, it will come with a guest writer. Helping out with the project is author George R.R. Martin the man behind the novel series, A Song of Ice and Fire. I’m sure the name alone for the author has plenty of fans familiar with the individual and his accomplishments, but if the name doesn’t ring a bell, this is the author behind the series which was adapted into HBO’s hit premium network show, Game of Thrones. George R.R. Martin was brought into the mix in order to help flesh out the lore of this upcoming game. Currently, the upcoming game doesn’t have a specific release date attached but we will see Elden Ring launch for the PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One platforms.
