Ubisoft is the third largest independent publisher in both Europe and the US and employs 9,200 staff of whom 7,800 are "dedicated to production." By contrast, Activision employs over 4,000 people while 9,000 work at EA.
It's believed that two Assassin's Creed games will be released this year, the already announced Unity for PC, PS4, and Xbox One, and the currently unconfirmed Comet for PS3 and Xbox 360.
More key Ubisoft franchises are expected to be announced at their E3 press conference which has been dated for June 9th. We'll likely also get more information on The Crew and The Division.
