Hotline Miami 2 Wrong Number Trailer is Nasty, Brutish, and Short

Devolver Digital has at long last released a new trailer for Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number and it’s as ultraviolent as it gets. It's short and to the point, and packs in a good amount of gameplay footage.

The blood-soaked, violent new trailer features the badass music of Carpenter Brut and contains footage revealing some of the game’s new weapons, including dual-wielded SMGs, a chainsaw, and one-handed shotguns.

An official description reads as follows: "Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number commands you to step into the murderous minds of several distinct characters – each with their own motivations and methods of execution – as storylines intersect and reality slips away into a haze of neon and carnage."

It’s set for release in the third quarter of 2014.
