Nintendo has shared a new trailer for Kirby Triple Deluxe, following its pending release in the west. The game will release May 2 in the US and May 16 for Europe. Check out the trailer below.
As is par for the course, Kirby’s strengths lie not in the story, but gameplay, and that’s why we get a lot of it in this trailer in spades. Watch out for his Hypernova, his Jack and the Beanstalk / Robin Hood style inspired hat, and what appears to be an OP jester cap. The game also seemingly takes inspiration from Virtual Boy Wario Land, with obstacles coming in from the background. Finally, Kirby Triple Deluxe also boasts of new four player modes that only require one copy of the game.

Coinciding with Kirby Triple Deluxe’s release in the UK is the release of a new pink and white 2DS, which we’re sure US is also set to receive. As one of Iwata’s former pet franchises, you can expect Kirby Triple Deluxe to be a lot of fun. You can also check out some screenshots of the game below, courtesy LiteAgent.
