Japanese developer From Software has announced its plans to release patch 1.02 of Dark Souls 2 shortly on the PlayStation 3 in Japan. It’s happening today at 7pm, March 17. The developer did not disclose a time or date for the patch’s release on the Xbox 360, however.
The public changelog for the patch reads as follows, in Japanese:
エラーコードãŒè¡¨ç¤ºã•ã‚Œå¬å–šã‚µã‚¤ãƒ³ãŒæ›¸ã‘ãªããªã‚‹ç¾è±¡ã®ä¿®æ£
Which translates into:
Modification of the phenomenon that summons sine is unable to write error code is displayed
Taking from that machine translation of the issue, we surmise that the patch relates to error codes being displayed when failing to drop a summon sign.
It’s unknown what else the patch fixes. If there is anything, the developers certainly aren’t saying.
